Organizations
Are you looking for volunteers or do you have adult educational programming that Master Naturalists can attend to reach their advanced training requirements? There’s a new website where Master Naturalists and other nature lovers can find organizations that have volunteer and learning opportunities to share: Wild Paths Wisconsin.
Hi – I’m Mary and I am a Wisconsin Master Naturalist! Wisconsin Master Naturalist is a great program that builds a network of well-informed volunteers dedicated to conservation service within their communities. I wanted to do all that, but I live in a pretty rural area of Wisconsin. There are things going on here, but it was not simple for me to connect to all the opportunities in my own community. So I thought “Wouldn’t it be nice to make a site where any nature lover could find organizations that want their help?” And Wild Paths Wisconsin was born!
I've gotten to know so many wonderful people through this program. The Master Naturalist volunteers are the most giving people I've ever met. I feel like I've gained a new circle of wonderful friends and acquaintances who I see at volunteer events. The enthusiasm of new volunteers is inspiring.
