Fishes of Wisconsin: Identification and Sampling Wisconsin's Fishes

Did you know that more than 150 species of fish live in Wisconsin? Can you identify all of them? If not, and you want to, than join us as we explore the world of Wisconsin's fishes.

University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Professor and curator of fish, Justin Sipiorski, Ph.D., will lead an interactive guide to identifying common fishes of the Upper Midwest. Through a combination of discussions, small group activities, and fish sampling in Jordan Pond and the Plover River, you'll learn how to identify nearly 30 families and 70 species of fish.
